I've been busy making new work based on fairy tales and folk tales, magical animals, skulls, shoes and teacups! You can see what I've been working on at my exhibition from 7th November 2011 until 9th January 2012, at Summerlee Museum, Heritage Way, Coatbridge, ML5 1QD

The Nunnington Worm
I just finished these illustrations for the National Trust. They are based on the legend of the Nunnington Worm, an evil dragon which terrorised a village before being slain by a knight and his dog who then died when they accidentally ingested some of the dragon's poisonous blood!

Sticker Designs for the National Trust
The National Trust commissioned me to design some children's stickers for Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire. I based them on stone carvings of a greyhound and a dragon which are part of the building.

Teacups, shoes and hummingbirds...
I entered this sketch a contest to paint the hoarding for the new Anthropologie store in Edinburgh. It's all a bit random but I like it. I might even paint it on my wall at home...

"The Tale of Two Bad Mice" work in progress...
This is for the scene where the mice, Tom Thumb and Hunca Munca first spot the delicious food on the dining room table. In the original it's ham, lobsters, fish and fruit. But in my version I've changed it into an amazing tea with big cakes, buns, trifle and biscuits. (maybe strawberries and cream too...) Shame it all turns out to be fake.
